An excerpt from Chapter 4 of “The Controversy of Zion and the Time of Jacob’s Trouble“:
Arrogance, ignorance, and deception concerning Israel’s role in God’s end-time purposes will have disastrous consequences in the generation of the Lord’s return. A great volume of prophetic scripture describing the conditions of the earth leading up to the eschatological “Day of the Lord” shows clearly that this present Age will not end before all nations are raging in great agitation over the question of the Land of Israel and the city of Jerusalem. Many professing Christians will side with the agitated masses in that day and will ultimately suffer for it.
